Southeastern Louisiana University - Student Union Addition and Renovation
Southeastern Louisiana University's Student Union was in need of an update when Holly and Smith Architects (H/S) approached Roy T. Dufreche and Associates for site planning and landscape design. H/S's extensive renovation and building expansion drawings include large outdoor plazas, and the landscape plans produced by our office help provide a strong identity to the building, establishing it as distinct section of the greater Campus area. Intended to continue the current Student Union's role as the students' center for campus life, this building will provide users the opportunity to choose between indoor and outdoor gathering areas. Construction completion is anticipated to be in 2012.
