Leto Residence Outdoor Kitchen
Project Narrative
We were retained by a returning client to design a new outdoor kitchen and steam room structure at their residence in northern Tangipahoa Parish near Amite, Louisiana. The owner wanted the new outdoor kitchen to offer extensive cooking and entertaining capabilities while seamlessly integrating with the existing pool area we had designed for them several years earlier.
The outdoor kitchen structure features an exposed metal frame and columns that keep the space open, airy, and visually light. Inside, it includes a full complement of high-end amenities: a built-in grill, pizza oven, dishwasher, sink, ice maker, and under-counter refrigerator. Additional elements include a built-in bar with counter seating, a comfortable sitting area, and an outdoor fireplace. The space is equipped for year-round use with winter heating and summer misters.
Adjacent to this, a separate two-story structure houses a custom steam room and shower on the upper level for the owners’ private enjoyment.
Both new structures were carefully sited to complement the existing pool, pool house, and main residence, creating a cohesive and functional outdoor living environment.
